100% CPU Usage

I'm looking for help on this problem. I run Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 with all updates installed on a Dell Precision 330 with an Intel Pentium 4 1800MHz CPU and 1.536MB ram

Recently it started running at 100% continually. The process that seems to be utilizing all the processor time is SERVICES.EXE. The problem is that I have two fo these listed in the process field and the smaller Memory Usage one is the one using all the CPU time.

I run with McAfee firewall and virus protection, and have run both the on line symatec and a new AVG 6.0 Anti-Virus program. I did find and remove one trojan from the system, not sure how it got there.

I still have the 100% CPU Usage problem after all this.

Any ideas?

This has been posted in the windows forums too, might try searching a bit to see if anyone else has solved the problem. (might be some program conflict? can't remember and to lazy to check.) When I had this happen, I just reformatted
