Athlon 64 Mobile? opinions
I'm looking at a laptop with an Athlon 64 in it. What's your opinion on the Athlon 64 in general and the Athlon 64 mobile?

Actually I'm trying to decide between a Mobile Athlon 64, a Mobile Athlon XP, a Pentium IV m or a Centrino. Can anyone give me any pointers? Also, What's the difference between XGA, SXGA, etc.?

The athlon 64 mobiles are about the fastest things available. Should be quite a system. It should easily be faster than the other options. (note: centrino refers to the integrated wireless capabilities of the chipset, not the cpu. The cpu for such is the pentium-m).
XGA, SXGA, etc refer to the resolution of the monitor (I forget exactly what the specs are, google it)

If you have the money, I would go for the Athlon 64
No bad points as far as I can see! |
