CPU comparison - Xeon 3060 vs Intel 950D

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could compare, or tell me the best way to compare, the Intel Xeon 3060 Dual-Core Conroe (2.4 Ghz) vs the Intel 950D Dual-Core (3.4 Ghz) processor?

It seems that the Xeon would be better for a straight across comparison, however does the increased processor speed of the 950D make it better overall?

well I'm not really sure why you would want that Xeon, its just a E6600 with the Xeon logo on it, and it is an extra $10, if i were you i would get the E6600 unless your getting a nice deal on the Xeon

anyways since that Xeon is essentially identical to the E6600 you can just look at the benchmarks for the E6600 and compare it to that of the 950, you can take a look at toms hardware CPU charts, i can't seem to find a single bench where the 950 even gets close to the E6600

so to answer your question, the Intel Xeon 3060 Dual-Core Conroe (2.4 Ghz) should be faster at everything then the Intel 950D Dual-Core (3.4 Ghz)
