Cpu Temperature
Hi all, I am Currently running an old AMD Athlon T'Bird 900MHz.
My idle temp is hovering around 50. I havent tried putting the cpu under full load as i dont know how to! . But i think for a processor of 900MHz its running wayyy to hot. What do you guys think? Thanks Chris |

Try reattaching the cpu heatsink, using some good thermal paste. If using stock cooling, consider getting a better heat sink, or a bigger fan. Be sure the space around the box is clear so you get good airflow. Add a case fan if you can. And depending on where you are getting this temperature, it may not be very accurate anyway.
