Difference between 540J & 540?

Difference between 540J & 540?

The letter J indicates a processor has Execute Disable Bit capability. Enabling Execute Disable Bit functionality requires a PC with a processor with Execute Disable Bit capability and a supporting operating system. Check with your PC manufacturer on whether your system delivers Execute Disable Bit functionality.

I would like to buy this mainboard, is this support execute disable bit?

I checked the doc but can't find any relevant information about J.

The support is in the cpu and the operating system, not the mobo. If the board is compatible with the cpu (it is) then you need an operating system that supports EDB to make it work. The OS's that support EDB are:
*Microsoft Windows* Server 2003 with Service Pack 1
*Microsoft Windows* XP* with Service Pack 2
*SUSE Linux* 9.2
*Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 Update 3[list]
