You can installed AMD 64 3400+ on ur corrunt motherboard by upgrading Ur BIOS which can be upgraded absolutely free by downloading BIOS upgrade software from ur motherboard manufacturer's website.
If our motherboard does not support any new hardware We will be able to install that hardware on the same motherboard if we upgrade BIOS, there is no need to buy a new motherboard. This is the new technology.
