The "next generation" is the Prescott core and LGA775, which was just released. Next will be the Tejas chip I believe (which might be called the P5), but thats not till Q4 2004 or Q1 2005. Those will continue to about 4.0-5ghz, then move to a 65nm process and get 2mb of L2 cache. At least, thats the talk.
