    hello,
I am trying to overclock my system

    amd athlon xp 2800

    coolmaster aero 7+
    kingston hyperx pc 3200
ati all in wonder 9600 pro
    samsung 120 GB SATA HD

No matter what i change it won't post. I have put the voltage up to 1.85V. If i change the speed by 1 Mhz it won't post. If i change the multipier up it won't post i changed it down to 11.5 and still wouldn't post. the only way i can get the computer to boot is with the defaults or below defaults. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think the cpu is locked, so you can't use higher multiples. Google for how to unlock it, be warned, it does involve physical changes to the cpu.
