SISD, SIMD, MIMD, MISD differences
Hi, I'm having a hard time finding information for my homework.
Basicly, I need to explain the differences between SISD, SIMD, MIMD, MISD processors and where they are used today. But I don't have much hardware experience, and I'm not really sure if I get this right. For example, is a dual-core intel processor a kind of MIMD processor? And is a normal single CPU a SMID processor? I'm starting to think that I'm way off here, and It'd be great if anyone could point me in the right direction. Thanks ![]() |

well i'm not going to do your homework, but i will point you to the wikipedia, as you can see they have a bit on it, and its fairly simple, if you can't understand it then explain what you can't understand or ask your instructor (and show proof that you tried)
