SISD, SIMD, MIMD, MISD differences

Hi, I'm having a hard time finding information for my homework.
Basicly, I need to explain the differences between SISD, SIMD, MIMD, MISD processors and where they are used today.

But I don't have much hardware experience, and I'm not really sure if I get this right.

For example, is a dual-core intel processor a kind of MIMD processor?

And is a normal single CPU a SMID processor?

I'm starting to think that I'm way off here, and It'd be great if anyone could point me in the right direction.

Thanks

well i'm not going to do your homework, but i will point you to the wikipedia, as you can see they have a bit on it, and its fairly simple, if you can't understand it then explain what you can't understand or ask your instructor (and show proof that you tried)
