    Buying New NoteBook

I am wanting to buy a new LapTop or Notebook for school and gaming. I don't reallly want to spend that much though. Anywhere under 1,300 USD. And it needs to be Windows XP Home and is compatible with wireless cox internet. Thanks for the suggestions

i would get a thinkpad G series then, its right around your price range and IBM makes great laptops, though i can't say its great for gaming, i would think a 5200FX vid card would be decent, don't expect any laptop to be great at gaming unless you buy from alienware, in which case you should treat the battery like a UPS and not use it, and expect to pay out the arse

i also would like to say, that especially with laptops, you get what you pay for, an IBM will stay in good condition, even if your rough on it, a dell will not, but they will replace it

and the IBM laptops are here

oh runescape...meh, you don't need anything close to a good vid card, i've played that on a 700Mhz mac with a 16MB ATI rage pro vid card, a little slow, but playable
