System Idle Process is 0
recently my system idle process has dropped to 0. there is another process called system that is always over 90. i have tried 4 different antivirus, antispyware, and system debug programs, but they all report no problems. since this low system idle process started, i can't also reboot or power down my system properly. it hangs at windows is shutting down and i have to press power switch even if all i want to do is restart. any ideas?

badly coded programs may be doing this to your system.. do you remember installing any programs before your system developed these problems?

check msconfig for startup programs. click the start menu, run, and type in "msconfig". click "startup" and see if anything looks....shady (such as a program with no path or description).
