CPU for 240 pounds
What would be a good CPU to buy for this budget. I am upgrading my PC, I do a lot of work on it, listen to music and also play games. I was looking at something like the AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200, what do you guys think. I would like it to be a 64 bit processor for future upgrades of operating systems. I have heard something about the new Intel Core 2 Duo being quite good, but not sure whether to wait for this CPU to come out or just go ahead and do it now. Suppose there are always going to be better CPU coming out all the time.

Personally, I would go for the Intel Dual Core - but that is just personal preference.

i would go with the Core 2 Duo, toms hardware benched it, and they showed that it beat the FX-62 overclocked to 3Ghz, and they didn't even use the fastest Core 2 Duo
also if you are going with an AMD, wait till the Core 2 Duo, a lot of people are saying AMD will do a price cut when intel releases the Core 2 Duo
