4 weaker Braswell cores or 2 stronger i5 cores?
For web and mobile app development.
Intend to run 1-2 Virtualbox or VMware guest VMs loaded with Windows 10 and Ubuntu Linux for single developer environment. Each virtual machine is not expected to have heavy workload (unlike production server).
Is 4 weak Atom cores or 2 strong i5 cores better?

If you're running both OSes concurrently then I'd do 4 slower cores. If you're using virtualization as a way to avoid having to reboot to switch between Windows and Linux, and therefore will only have one actively running at once, then I'd use 2 faster cores.
- Consider that Windows 10 Pro has the Linux subsystem available. It's not a full Ubuntu but it's a decent stand-in for the headless server version.
- If you are only using either OS at a time then I'd suggest Windows 10 Pro as the main OS and a Hyper-V instance of Ubuntu.
