    How do I add padding?

    Right now, there is nothing about padding located in css file. And I was told I should add a bit because my page is a headache to read. I was told:

    "Basically you want to add more white space between the vertical line and the text"

    How would I go about doing this? The site Im talking about is:

    A quick fix would be to add paddings to all paragraphs, because of the lack of the markup.

    Code:
    p {
      padding: 0 5px; /* top/bottom and left/right */
    }
    Note this is just a quick fix, what you really ought to do is to clean up your markup. Rather than table you should use css for layout.
    And use the right html element for the right job. Use h1-h6 for headings. A paragraph with a class doesn't provide the semantic meaning of a heading.
