    Border around image won't go away.

    I've got an img link in a div tag and can't remove the unsightly border, which sometimes displays left/top/bottom, or sometimes top/bottom, or sometimes only top. Annoying.

    I tried setting border to "none" or "0px" for the div tag, no effect. I also tried with image but not sure if I did it right, again no effect.

    (CSS)
    #image {
    position:absolute;
    left:85%;
    top:5%;
    width:150;
    height:70px;
    z-index:1;

    }

    (HTML)
    <body>
    <div id="image"><img src="logo.png" width="150" height="70" alt="some alternate text"/></div>
    </body>

    One clue: The problem must be in the image and not the div tag because I have the same image twice, once in the ap div and again in an <h2> tag, and the border is identical in both.

    TIA!

    Good morning Tia,

    Try putting this in your CSS file:
    Code:
    div#image img
    {
        border: none;
    }
    Kind regards,

    NM.

    Never mind, sorry! The image had a border on it originally which I overlooked. Had to edit the original image file was all.
