    Unhappy Changing the background image of a slider

    I am having trouble changing the background image of a slider.

    I can modify the colour, but cannot get an image to appear.

    What I have tried so far is:

    #slider .post {
    background-image : url('image.png');
    overflow : hidden;
    box-shadow : none;
    margin : 0;
    padding : 1.83%;
    }

    #slider {
    background: url('image.png');
    }

    #slider {
    background-image: url('image.png');
    }

    Any help or pointers in the right direction for answers are much appreciated!

    I suggest you provide some example or links to your work, otherwise it's hard to understand what you are working with and therefore the source of your problem.

    I tried but it told me the link was blocked as I was new.

    Will try again. Slider is located on homepage here:

    You might want to try changing section to div, or modifying the background to affect the div "container." Also, someone on google noticed that if they deleted the div container they had located inside the section tag, the background image worked.
    I hope one of these suggestions helped!
