    Container shifts in Firefox

    Hi, I am fairly new to CSS and learning but came across something. When I click on links to go to other parts of my site, the container on 2 pages only shifts a little.

    I even used the template I created for the index for the other pages and the CSS is the same.

    I notice this happening on Firefox. IE 6/7 the page looks fine.

    Any reason for this? Thanks

    Code:
    #container{
    margin-top: 0px;
    margin-right:
    auto;margin-bottom: 0px;
    margin-left:
    auto;width: 760px;background-color:#ffffff;
    border: 1px solid #6785b3;
    font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 12px;
    color: #666666;
    height: 950px;
    }

    Could it be that the vertical scroll bar is appearing on those pages making the viewing window narrower and thus shifting your page to the left slightly?

    IE always shows the vertical scroll bar so you wouldn't notice it there, you'll only notice it in Firefox when there is enough content on the page.

    If that's what it is, set the height on the body to 100.1%

    Uh, similar issue from a different angle. Is there a way to shift the content to the right in css only when the scroll bar appears so that it looks like it is staying in the same place?
