Css -- Help!!
Well I have just been working on my first CSS only site. The entire thing is done in CSS.
I was getting pretty excited about it as things seemed to be going ok.
Then I took a look at it on a PC
On my Mac running IE 5 and NN6 the site renders fine. However on a PC the thing seems to choke up the browser so that response is like cold molasses.
Any help is very appreciated.
The URL is:
http://amn.hunthost.com
TIA,
Ryan
P.S.
Yes I know the closing /> is missing on some of the images, and therefore doesn't validate to xhtml, but the problem occurs with or with out.

actually the whole browser slows down. can't scroll, can't do anything except close the window and start over again. one of the target merchants actually brought this to my attention.
thanks for checking, i wonder why some computers choke and others don't.

The problem might have been caused by the computer. If it is an older computer it could just not be able to handle it.

have no speed problems, tried both with IE and Mozilla 0.9.8
but i get some rendering problems in moz, the "leftcol" is shown below the "rightcol"
could be some css, maybe it can't handle that you use float on both cols, or a div that is misplaced.
or could be that the "rightcol" preceds "leftcol" in the source.
but it would be a bit odd though, as you say it renders fine in ns6

IE6 looks fine
NS6.2 -> right col renders first, then the left col below it.

What size screen are you using?
If the window squeezes to narrow the left col should pop under, but normal redering should be side by side.
Can anyone do a screen shot?

no real performance issues (a tad slow maybe?), but I have the same left col renders below right col bug in Moz 0.9.9. This is three different milestones of Moz (NS 6.2 = 0.9.4, 0.9.8, and 0.9.9) showing problems, so maybe this deserves a second look.

Any suggestions on how to go about analysing this? I cant see the misplaced columns on amy of my systems, but it sure does move slow on the PC platform.
Any suggestions?
