CSS: Footer in Opera problem
Hi.
I've been banging my head against the wall for ages with this! Could someone please explain, and perhaps offer some code, on why the footer on the Home and About Me pages (http://www.freewebs.com/mike-elley/) renders the page header and title below, differently. These pages seem to work fine in IE6. I'm testing on Opera 7.23 by the way. Thanks very much for any help! ![]() |

??? I don't see any appreciable differences. Could you better explain what we're to look for?
BTW—you might be interested in this footer demo. cheers, gary

Thanks for your reply Gary!
"Could you better explain what we're to look for?" Well all it is is that when you go from the Home to About pages the blue banner with the page title shifts slightly to the side. As I said this only happens when I test the pages in Opera. I've got a temporary fix though; I've amended the stylesheet so that the content div has a bottom margin of 200px. This prevents the annoying shift. (I haven't yet uploaded the fixed sheet, so no need to check).P.S. Cheers for the demo link. |
