    Css height:100% opera

    hey all,

    I'm trying to display a <b> as a block and have its height be 100%, unfortunately in opera and safari it doesn't display anything. If i set the height to be 100px it displays it, but it doesn't like percentages. Anyone know why? and how to fix it?
    thanks,

    I suggest using the top, left, right, and bottom properties to set its location. I do wonder why you are using the <b> tag rather than a <div> tag for your block.

    Code:
    div.class_name{
        top:    0px
        left:   0px
        right:  0px
        bottom: 0px
    }

    What about Firefox?

    I can't help without seeing your X/HTML and CSS code.

    Well setting position:absolute shows the bar, unfortunately the table that contains it (yeah yeah... grumble grumble) is not cutting it off so i now have a solib black bar from the top to the bottom of the page. any suggestions? and overflow:hidden doesn't work.

    thanks,

    First: use strong instead of b tag

    And if this will not solve anything, try to use different display setting. But posting test page with your problem will be the best way
