New Member - CSS Help on Superfish Dropdown Menu

I have been trying to figure out this CSS issue and I can't seem to pin down the solution.

If you hover over a link in the main Navbar (ie Private Events)
the background and text color changes. This is fine, however if you bring up the drop down and then drag your mouse to the right or left of the dropdown, the css properties on the sub-menu links change color and a left 1px border gets added. Basically once I hover off the sub-menu links it takes up the font-color and left-border properties of my main navigation. If any one has any insight into how/why this is happening, I'd greatly appreciate it.
