css in Linux Vs Windows

hi folks

i have a css class as follows

.black {
font-family : Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size : 11px;
color : #000000;
text-align : right;
font-weight : bold;
}

This css class works fine with IE as well as Mozilla but only on windows platform. If I see my web page, in which i've used this CSS, on Linux Platform
on Mozilla I didn't get same results as i get with mozilla on windows .

What seems to be the difference?

Are you sure you're using the exact same font on both platforms?

Yes jermon I m using the same font on both the platforms. I've Installed the Arial fonts on Linux also.

The Difference is that is see is-
In the Form text boxes are not align properly on linux mozilla ver 1.3.
