Okay, I have big problem, in Netscape 4.75 (and I assume other 4.x versions of NS) layers get cutoff by form objects (text fields).
Any layer that is ‘over’ a form object is visually interrupted by the form object behind it. I’ve checked it on various versions of IE (4.0 and above) and Netscape 6 and it works fine (not interrupted), so obviously this is a bug in Netscape 4.x. Has anyone found a workaround to this problem? Thanks very much, Luke Bowerman |

If you can try using <div> instaead of <layer>. Form elements will not not show through.

No such luck. I used div tags in my orginal definition. Any other ideas?

Hi,
I was certain this would work so I tried it out on NN 4.72. It seems to be random - sometimes when it loads it shows through -sometimes not. It must be a bug. The only other suggestion I have is that you put a table(width, height=100% inside the layer and set it's background color). I expect you've tried that. John |
