[SOLVED] CSS overflow property does not work

Hello.

I have a little problem with the overflow property on this site I'm developing:
www.evairpeterson.com.br/duvidas/overflownaofunciona.html

The problem is that the vertical scroll bar does not appear when the text on the "right" DIV too long.
I want that in cases like this, where the list goes TEST 1 to TEST 99 a vertical scroll barappears to the right side of the page.

Usually I add the CSS "right" DIV the this code:

Code:
overflow-y: auto;

But I don't know which reason it does not work in this case.
Someone can help me solve this problem?

I'm grateful to anyone who can help me.
I apologize for the mistakes of writing, but my fluency in your language is not the best.
Greetings from Brazil, Evair.

It's Solved

Talking to a friend from Portugal here comes the solution, as your orientation:

Quote:
What is happening is that the page is too big and when placing as absolute position, along with the overflow hidden, it will not let you do scroll.

So what kept the DIV "right" exactly as it was and just changed the overflow DIV "major" HIDDEN to AUTO.
And with that rather I have 100% of my problem solved, the most appropriate way possible.

I hope this information will help someone in the future.
I appreciate everyone's attention. Evair.
