    CSS Scrollbars and PHP

    This is the code for the blog page:

    PHP Code:
    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">
    <html>
    <head>
    <title>Untitled Document</title>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
    <STYLE TYPE="TEXT/CSS">
    <!--
    BODY {
    SCROLLBAR-FACE-COLOR: #999999;
    SCROLLBAR-HIGHLIGHT-COLOR: #999999;
    SCROLLBAR-3DLIGHT-COLOR: #999999;
    SCROLLBAR-DARKSHADOW-COLOR: #999999;
    SCROLLBAR-SHADOW-COLOR: #999999;
    SCROLLBAR-ARROW-COLOR: #CCCCCC;
    SCROLLBAR-TRACK-COLOR: #999999;
    }
    -->
    </STYLE>
    <?php /* Don't remove this line, it calls the b2 function files ! */ $blog=1; include ("blog.header.php"); ?>
    </head>

    <body>
      <!-- // b2 loop start -->
          <?php $blognumber 1;
          while(
    $row mysql_fetch_object($result) AND $blognumber <= 5) {
              if (!
    $p AND !$m){

    $blognumber++;}

    start_b2(); ?>

             <font size="+1" color="#FFFF00">
                  <?php the_date("","",""); ?>
                  </font>
                  <div class="storyTitle"> <b> </b><em><A href="mailto:<?php the_author_email() ?>">
                    <?php the_author() ?>
                    </A></em> @
                    <?php the_time() ?>
                  </div>              <font color="#CCCCCC">
                  <?php the_content(); ?>
                  </font>
                  <div class="rightFlush">
                    <?php link_pages("<br />Pages: ","<br />","number"?>
                    <?php comments_popup_link("Comments (0)""Comments (1)""Comments (%)"?>
                    <!-- this includes the comments and a form to add a new comment -->
                    <?php include ("b2comments.php"); ?>
                  </div>

                 <BR>
        <?php ?>

    </body>
    </html>
    When I save this page as new.php the scrollbars remain as the default colors. If I save it as news.html the scrollbar works but the PHP code does not of course. Any ideas?

    Sorry if something like this has already been asked I searched but couldn't find anything.

    Thanks

    I don't see anything either.

    Inside blog.header.php, does it contain coding that perhaps output CSS that may overwrite your customized scrollbar coloring?

    I'm not sure why this works but take out the first line in your file. Once I took that line out, the styles were applied to the scrollbars when it's saved as a PHP file.

    You're great! Thank you so much.
    That is very weird though. Just out of curiosity, if anybody knows why that happened, I'd like to know.
