CSS settings - Not rendering in Internet Explorer

I have done my best to GOOGLE this problem but am not coming up with anything. I'm fairly certain that there is some setting/code that I need to add in CSS that would make this error go away.

When I view my site in INTERNET EXPLORER, the main content box is shoved down almost below the sidebar/nav menu. The site works fine in FIREFOX & CHROME.

I was hoping someone could help me.

I have attached a picture of what it looks like in IE.

Nice. I tried in IE 7 and got it working.... I changed the width of the "content" div to 700px from 710px. I think it was too wide so the left nav pushed it down.

Try changing the width and let me know if it works for you.

Wow, I feel like an idiot......I assumed it couldn't be the width in CSS since it worked in all the other browsers. That worked! Thanks so much!

I think its because ie 7 has different default paddings and margins then the other more modern browsers.
