    css spacing issues

    I am racking my brains on how to use css propperly. Below you will find my use of css to change font properties. It works, but it is a bit off. On a pc using IE, there is a wierd spacing issue. The last line of the paragraph will drop down like there is paragraph break. It looks great on a mac though. This leads me to believe that I might not be using css properly...

    PHP Code:
            <table width="259" border="0" cellspacing="4" cellpadding="2">
              <
    tr>
                <
    td width="87" height="72"><img src="images/news_thumb_2.jpg" alt="News Graphic" width="87" height="72"></td>
                <
    td valign="top"
                    <
    class="newsdate">Date</B><br>
                    <
    span class="newsblurb">A very intersting story goes here.</span>
                    <
    div align="right"><a href="news_story.php"><img src="images/news_read_more.jpg" alt="Read More" width="81" height="19" vspace="5" border="0"></a></div>
                </
    td>
              </
    tr>
            </
    table
