    Need help with grid layout in Edge and IE

    I need some help with CSS grid layout for IE and Edge. I have dynamic content so I need to have three columns and repeating content. Works in Firefox and Chrome.

    Code:
    .mygrid {
    display: grid;
    display: -ms-grid;
    grid-template-columns: repeat(3, 1fr);
    -ms-grid-columns: repeat(3, 1fr);

    Is this even possible in IE? For some reason it works without specifying rows in Firefox and Chrome. I cannot find any instructions to allow for dynamic content where you can't specify the rows.

    I recommend you read this article: Should I try to use the IE implementation of CSS Grid Layout?

    I use and recommend using inline-blocks or floats (or a mixture thereof) for that kind of thing still. CSS3 Grid and multi-line/wrapping Flex boxes just don't have good enough cross-browser support yet.
