Need help with menu (sub menu hovering)

    http://www.tvshow-caps.co.uk/test/index.php

if you hover over the main menus (jeans etc) you will see that each of the sub-menu is over two lines so something like:

    regular
    fit

    instead of

    regular fit

and the second sub menu (shirts) half of the menu has background-color when i want it to be on all of it?

The first one, the text is too long for the width of the menu, so it drops onto the next line. In the shirts one there is not a space between words, so it extends beyond the edge. Try increasing the width of your drop down.

thank you very much, i did do width:100% before now i have increased that width to 125% and the first one looks ok,

my SECOND question is isnt there a way for me to do this so that the background-color is black and fills around the li? because i would have to increase the width even more to make back-color go around the shirt sub-menu and if i do that thn my first menu will look wrong? as it will have extra black space?

Give the colour to the links rather than the li or ul elements
