Major speed problem on IE with CSS
For some reason, draw speed is really slow no my site with IE. It's perfectly fine with mozilla. Sometimes you can see it painting the screen, so it's already got the images downloaded. Just the hover on the main menu is slow; on mozilla it's fine. I just use CSS for the hover, so it's nothing fancy. Anybody have any ideas?
URL: http://www.bitmesh.com It only uses 8 images, each less than 1kb. |

yea. thats weird....esp since u say that the pics r under 1k?!
hmm... y not just use text for your links (do the hover w/ css) and avoid images for the menus all together? |

The links are text, and the hover is done with css. Even with hover off, it's still slow. By 8 images, I meant 8 images in the entire layout, all of which are under 1kb.
