    Menu item not active

    Good afternoon everyone!

    I am creating a horizontal menu and got lost in an error that is taking me sleepless nights. By clicking a menu item, it is not activated, the rest is working perfectly.

    The following scripts:

    div.idTabs{
    padding:5px 0px 6px 0px;
    border-bottom:1px solid #000000;
    position:relative;
    z-index:100;
    text-align:center;
    }
    div.idTabs span a{
    padding:5px;
    text-decoration:none;
    background: url(../navegacao_abas/btn_closed_tab.png);
    background-size:100% 100%;
    -webkit-background-size: 100% 100%;
    -moz-background-size: 100% 100%;
    -ms-background-size: 100% 100%;
    color:#606062;
    border:none;
    text-shadow:0px .5px 3px #ffffff;
    }
    div.idTabs span a:hover{
    text-decoration:none;
    background:url(../navegacao_abas/btn_open_tab.png);
    background-size:100% 100%;
    -webkit-background-size: 100% 100%;
    -moz-background-size: 100% 100%;
    -ms-background-size: 100% 100%;
    color:#606062;
    border:none;
    text-shadow:0px .5px 3px #ffffff;
    }
    div.idTabs span a.selected{
    position:relative;
    z-index:101;
    background: url(../navegacao_abas/btn_open_tab.png);
    background-size:100% 100%;
    -webkit-background-size: 100% 100%;
    -moz-background-size: 100% 100%;
    -ms-background-size: 100% 100%;
    color:#606062;
    border:none;
    text-shadow:0px .5px 3px #ffffff;
    }
    div.idTabs span a.selected:hover{
    text-decoration:none;
    }

    <form action="index.php" method="post" name="adminForm" id="adminForm" enctype="multipart/form-data" class="form-validate" onSubmit="return myValidate(this);">
    <div class= "tabs_wrapper">
    <div class="idTabs">
    <span><a class="selected" href="#aaaa">aaaa</a></span>
    <span><a href="#bbbb">bbbb</a></span>
    <span><a href="#cccc">cccc</a></span>
    <span><a href="#dddd">dddd</a></span>
    <span><a href="#eeee">eeee</a></span>
    <span><a href="#ffff">ffff</a></span>
    <span><a href="#gggg">gggg</a></span>
    </div>
    </div>

    Could anyone help me?
    thank you

    Hello
    What exactly do you want your menu to do when you click a menu item? And what does it do instead?

    when you click a menu item, it goes to the page normally, but the item in the menu bar is not active, ie not change color indicating the item clicked

    Scratch this, I am stupid xD I just re-read your post and realized that you said it went to pages normally, indicating a working link. Left my post to archive my morning sleepiness xD

    I will look deeper into this when I get on a PC instead of my phone, but one thing that I would like you to try is change the href paths to # instead of #aaaa etc
    I don't know if this works as I did not test it out, but give it a shot

    I put # aaa, because I created an anchor on the same page below. All href are directed to the same page. I did this just to see the link. If you want to send the entire script in private.
