Remove spacing around table border but not between headings

Hi guys,

This is what I can currently make: pasteall.org/pic/show.php?id=45132
What I want is for the space between headings to remain (I used padding:5px) like the first image but I want the black outline to stick to the table (no spacing on the outer region) like in the second image. The red outline in the first image shows that the first table has 5px spacing between the rows and the table border, how can this be removed without losing the space between "Instance" and "Username" etc?

Can you provide any HTML and CSS?

There is only one image so I'm not sure about the 'second image' you refer to, but from what I gather, you have set the table background to red, so delete that declaration to remove that, and regarding having the black border 'stick' to the table rows, delete the padding.

It's hard to say without seeing some code.
