    Problems rendering in IE...but not Firefox or Safari

    hello. i'm using a CSS tutorial and DREAMWEAVER to build a website. i find that the site is interpreted the way i would like it in either Firefox or Safari...but not in IE. When links are hovered over while using IE, the page distorts. has anyone experienced this type of problem before? thank you in advance for your time and assistance!

    i did post several explanatory screenshots to illustrate the problem.

    replace each "@" with a period. mea culpa.

    I'm not seeing the same problem in IE over here, but you do have:

    Code:
    a:hover  {
    	height: 185px;
    	background-color: #FFFFFF;
    }
    Which is telling it to make the links tall when you hover over them.

    the windows-based computers i'm uisng to doublecheck the web page...both are pretty old. maybe that's it as well. i changed the "185" to "35" so i'm hoping that that solves everything. thanks for letting me know that it looks correct on your end. i do appreciate your time. really! thank you.
