Reset CSS not working between Firefox and other browsers

I have resently set up my first CSS reset. I have watched all of the youtube videos, read all of the tutorials. And I am still having problems getting Firefox to pay attention to the reset. I have set it at the top of the CSS page. And I am stumped.

The main problem is that the text is Firefox is always smaller and a san serif compared to Chrome, Safari and Explorer.
Firefox pays attention to the reset in terms of margins but not type.

I am working on a mac, with dreamweaver and I am completely updated.

Does anyone have any idea why I'm having this problem? Help please!
