styles on <input type="file"/>
is there any way to change the style of the "Browse..." button on the <input type="file"/> tag?

for instance, setting background-color will only change the text box of the tag and not the button.

thanks, i know my next question is in the wrong forum but do you know if it's possible to upload a file using something other than the <input type="file"/> element?

Same answer as cliffhanger9, no. You can only upload files from HTML using the input type="file"
