New Member - Trouble with position and display properties

Hello, I'm setting up a Tictail site and have been busy modifying the css and html. Running into trouble with a
.product_list .image_container
that won't budge to the left.

Previously there was a left hand column in the way but I deleted the meta container from the source code.

If I post the source code would anyone be able to make sense of it? It's not very long winded but I've no idea how easy this would be for an expert to solve!
