Making my site with css positioning

I have come to the conclusion that tables are evil, plus I want to make my site very good, web standards wise.

Thing is atm I suck at div tags etc. and I was wondering if anybody could offer insight into doing www.blueuniverse.co.uk (relative positioning not absolute).

It is a 3 column layout which I have heard can be hard.

Also, how do you align div tags to the right of another e.g. my logo and then my current nav bar.

    Thanks

p.s. please help, I want to change my wicked ways lol

Hey tables aren't all bad, they still have their place! I'd like to suggest this excellent tutorial, print it out and read it at your leisure. It certainly helped me understand css and divs a lot.

    Hope that helps some,

    Just view source on www.blueuniverse.co.uk

The reason I don't like tables is that I can never seem to be able to control them on the blue universe site. Have a look around and you'll set what I mean. They always seem to be adjusting on their own.

Thanks for the tutorial, I'll have a good look at it
