Is this possible, append character with css/js??

Is it possible to put double quotes before and after a sting which has a specific class assigned to it? Either with CSS or JS?

    Example:
Lets say i have this code:

    PHP Code:
Lorem ipsum dolor sit ametconsectetuer adipiscing elitInteger quis nibh

Etiam nibh nequemollis velconsectetuer idviverra necdiamPhasellus
        lectus neque
    suscipit vitaecursus idpellentesque neclacusDonec augue
        libero
    scelerisque atpulvinar euegestas etsemPraesent venenatis
        ipsum at risus
Proin vel eratFusce pretium justo elementum nibh ultricies lacinia

Nam adipiscing magna eu nequeMaecenas dictum lectus nec nislMauris eu odio
        <
    div class="blogquote">

Nunc convallis lobortis arcuPellentesque purus micommodo
            eget
faucibus quiselementum sit ametlacusSed scelerisque nulla vitae
            felis
    .
        </
    div>

Phasellus lectus liberofaucibus quiselementum acnonummy utpurus

Curabitur sit amet velitDonec interdum semper quamPhasellus dui

    Nulla elementum nisl
Is it possible to put a doublequote before and after the text within the div with class blogquote without using a serverside language like php?

Absolutely. W3.org explains it thoroughly in the chapter Generated content, automatic numbering, a. There is even a semantic html element, <blockquote>, for your class, "blogquote."

Thanks alot! Just too bad it isn't supported by Msie yet ...

gonna make use of it anyway, i'm not waiting till MS gets their act together and supports all of CSS 2.0
