    I'm pretty new to both CSS & JavaScript so I'll appologize for being stupid.

    I use the following tag to link to a style-sheet in my HTML documents:

    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="master.css">

    What I want to know is if there is a way that I could use JavaScript to specify this so that the style-sheet could be changed to a different one dynamically - changing all the formatting of my page on the fly.

    If this is not possible I'm sorry to bother you, but any help would be appreciated & thanks in advance.

    Hi there!

    There is a possibility of writing things to the page on the fly, but once the page is displayed itīs a bit complicated to change the content of the page. But you could write the link to your stylesheet at loading time.
    This would make sense when using a cookie to store the visitors preferences for css.
    In place of <link ... you have to put the following in:
    <script language="JavaScript">
    document.write("<link ...>";
    </script>
    Difference is that you now can use variables.

    Take care and all the best
