Please help with this small CSS challenge that I'm having on the menu of a site I am building out..

dubdubdub. globalforex123 dotcom

(sorry - new member, can't post URLs!!)

Notice that the menu has two items on it:

'Home' and 'Test'

Notice that the 'home' menu item looks different to the 'test' item (different background and different colour on hover)

What I'm trying to get to:

I want 'home' to look exactly like 'test', please give me CSS to do this.

More info:

Why is home different now? Because to put the little flag icon, I had to use this custom css (it was the only way I could figure out how to do this.. but i think this is what's causing my problem). I'm copying the CSS I see in 'inspect element' on the 'good' menu item, then adding the background image:

li#menu-item-469 a {
border-left-color: #585858;
border-left: 1px solid #585858;
color: #ffffff;
cursor: pointer;
display: inline;
font-size: 13px;
font-weight: 700;
height: 45px;
line-height: 45px;
margin: 0;
padding: 0 0.9em;
position: relative;
text-decoration: none;
text-shadow: 0 -1px 0 #000000;
white-space: nowrap;
background-image: url('( URL BLOCKED !! ));
background-repeat: no-repeat;

clearly I am not doing something right

Can anyone help me figure out the correct CSS to use so that:

a) I show the little icon on 'home'
b) I get 'home' look like 'test' (same colour, same hover colour)
