Make background colour stretch to bottom

    Hi,

i have a responsive website with a sidebar and a main content area - http://asdesigns.co.uk/lotus-blossom/bio.html

What i would like to do is have the white background of the content area stretch all the way to the footer.

I can't seem to work out how to do it.

I know if it was fixed width website i could make the sidebar fixed width and have the background image that width and repeat-y and then add #fff and that would work but not sure how to do this with a respsonsive full width site.

Any advice would be grateful thanks

That link you provided doesn't work, and without seeing the code it's kinda hard to help you out.

Whatever container has the white background, make sure it's operating at 100% height as to cover all visible vertical space, or if there is another container behind it, make sure that is white so it shows thru behind it, or make sure your background size is set to 100%.
