AS400 error message SYS-0458
Twice in the last 3 days we have gotten error message SYS-0458
Error opening output queue. This happens when attempting do a catalog of a tape already in the drive.. We have never had this error before and have been doing the same backup procedures for a year now. I took the "3" option the 1st time we got this error, then restarted job at point it cancelled.....backup ran fine. Second time due to time of day did not restart. Anybody tell me exactly what this means, as I don't have an error manual that has this error in it.

Is this a database error number or an application error number? Is this the full error message?

AS400 error
This is the complete error message and am getting when trying to catalog a tape in the tape drive....I can cancel the msg and then start the catalog over and it works fine. Got it again this morning. Three days in a row and never had this problem before.
Nothing has changed.
