Beginner at Access 2000

Hello all
I hope I’m not in over my head. Here’s what I hope to do.
Create a simple data base in MS Accesss 2000 to log in information about garden soil samples. The soil will be tested for pH nitrogen phosphorus organic matter texture etc. I need basic assistance linking information together. Example: If a soil tests for pH of 5.5 It would be really neat if a message would appear that says “This soil is high in acid ideal for growing certain shrubs and bushes, but suited for leafy green vegetables. Or if organic content is low, another message would appear that says add so many pounds of fertilizer.
If some one could help me connect the various messages (which I will create in detail of course) I would be most grateful. I hope I’ve given enough information.

Thank you
Michael in Oregon
