I just had to post this link to an old interview with Bill Gates.
I don't know what's more appalling: the lack of understanding or caring for whether his software really addresses the customer's needs, or the total lack of any hint of courtesy or common politeness in dealing with the interviewer. Sad... really sad... If anyone is having trouble convincing a boss/client to move away from SQL Server to PostgreSQL, just send them this interview.

Scary...
I think that M$ still has (a lot of) that mentality and the point of view as Bill Gates shared with us in the interview. Another one to add to the list of why M$ might not be the best choice... //NoXcuz
