    Database Design Question

I'm currently in the process of making an image upload script. However I have run into a problem. I'm making the script so that the user can either upload a thumbnail or have the orginal image resized instead of having to upload a thumbnail.

Basically if they browse for a thumbnail image it assumes they are trying to upload a thumbnail, if not it assumes they want the image automatically resized.

Now my question whats the best way to store the image and thumbnail in a db. Is it best just to store the location to the file, or just the file name and point to the correct location within the script?
