Angry Eliminate replication in SQL Server 2000

Hi all, i´m having a problem, a big one, because i configured a SQL server to act as distributor and publisher, i chose the transaction method but now i can´t uninstall the publication, the Console manager hangs and i have to close it.

I´m sure i have to stop some service or eliminate something to be able to eliminate the publication but i cant find any documentation.

Please, i thank to all of you any help given.
