EXE Program & MySQL

Hi Guys,

Currently, we run our office mostly on a MySQL Server. We have kind of like an Intranet...any client within our LAN can access the server, and do their stuff via PHP Scripts.

However, I've been thinking about perhaps learning how to write an Executable Program to do all the same stuff in the MySQL Database.

What language works good with MySQL, if any??
