How can i read unknown files
Hi, is there anyway that i can read unknown files?
the file i trying to read is *.VNF i don't really need to actually read it i just need to find a a pattern within it and being able to edit it can someone help me out? |

I don't know of any generic way to access files from SQL, but I am sure that whatever database you are working in does have that, RTFM. You may want to consider just writing a program (in Perl, perhaps) to do the work and not try to force your db to do it.
