Arrow how to connect to a db from server to server on same network?

I am building an intranet. I have one server that hosts the site and another that has a db that drives the site. I set up a system DSN on the machine that hosts the intranet files to point to the database that sits on the other server. Both are on the same network, but it will not work. I don't know where to start. Here is the error:

Error Type:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80004005)
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the file '(unknown)'. It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data.
/sam local/includes/competition_jump_connstr.asp, line 37

Does anybody have a solution? The strange thing is that I can get it to work across the network from the fileserver to my desktop box, but not to another server. Any help would really be appreciated.

Best,
Nathan

IIS normally operates under a user account that's local to the web server, and won't have any permissions to a file on another server.

There is a MS KB article on using Access via unc paths somewhere, try a search of the MS Knowledgebase.
