Hi there,
I have to do something I have never done before. I am researching how to set up a client login on an agency home page. This would be where the agency's clients go to view the work in progress. etc... I am assuming a database will be needed to store names and permissions. Has anyone done this before? Can you walk me through it? Thanks, Chai ![]() |

Okay, well you need a database, your are right there. You also need to learn some sort of scripting language to take the data from the client, check the database and then track their login.
What OS is the server? What database tools are available? What scripting lanuages are available? Do you know about databases? Do you know any scripting languages? |

well, so, I found out we're using a UNIX/Apache box. I am leaning towards Access since we already have it and I don't think my boss is going to go for using MySQL even at the lower rate compared to MS.
So, what can I do with a Unix environment and Access? Or can even make the two interact? Chai |
